Is there any way to restore or rebuild a corrupted database?

I can create the database with DB2 without problem. The light is green. I don't see any traces, but I doubt if there is any data in it.

It has only one data file, thd00001.thd. All other files are for alarms and events. When I create alarm view, I can see all the alarms.

So, I guess there are only alarms and events in this database.

I met problem when creating database with DB3. Following this KB, I find there are several files missing in this database.

So, I remove the alarm files, .ale,.adx,.mdx and areas.dat. Then create the database. This time, I can see the traces, but all the alarms and events are lost.

If you don't see any traces after removing the alarm files, and the light is still red, please remove the database and create again.

Summary,

DB2 has no data, but all alarms are fine.

DB3 can retrieve all data, but alarms and events will be lost.
