OPC server 5.1 SLC 5/05

Sorry if this question is a little vague but pretty new to the OPC side of things hereCurrently I have some AB Versaview touchscreens running a program that was build in Labview 7.1 using IA OPC server 5.1 to talk to a group of SLC 5/05 processorWe seem to get random dropout on the communication and it seems to that the person who set these OPC servers up has used PLC5/80  for the model number for ethernet communication since there is no SLC 5/05 processer avalible on the listIs OPC 5.1 even fully compatible with the SLC 5/05 or is there a different driver avalible to address this. Any other suggestion would be welcomeThanks all and have a wonderfull day.

The SLC 5/05 driver in IA OPC Server doesn't support ethernet connection, so I guess your developer then chose the PLC5/80 as the driver.

NI recently released the NI OPC Server which supports the ethernet connection to SLC 5/05. Here is the list of all supported PLCs by NI OPC Server. But NI OPC Server has to work with LabVIEW DSC 8.5 module or higher version.

Thx for the responseI noticed that the SLC 5/05 wasnt' listed as a option under the SLC 500 lineupI was just hoping that someone could confirm or allow me to rule out that using the PLC5/80 driver could be contributing to our flaky ethernet connectionThanks again
