I'm have an intermittent fault with Lookout 5.1 running on a Dell PC using XP Pro
The system will run perfectly for months and then the following error message appers
Cannot open temporary state file for writing - followed by corruption of the graphics.
This can be resolved by disconnecting all COMMS and rebooting PC.
The system saves the state file ever 60 minutes and several trends are stored on the system on a 10 day storage cycle.
Is this a know problem and more importantly is there a cure for the problem other than a reboot of the system.
A reboot of the PC has been know to upset the constants of the flowcomputers attached to the system so if that can be avoided so much the better. Plus the corrupted graphics have raised comments.
Any help on resolving this matter would be appreciated.
