I just upgraded from Lookout 5.1 (build 😎 to Lookout 6.0.2 and have also installed the 6.0.2 updates. I mainly have 24 hr. trend widths, and I am having a problem similar to the one in this thread in that the trends are not appearing nearly as fast as they did in 5.1.

Have you guys made in progress in solving this problem? I was hoping that the updates would fix the problem but no luck. What changed from 5.1 to 6.0.2 to cause this problem?

I am really truly amazed at how long this thread has gone on.  I have not seen a post saying that  the issue has 100% been resolved so I"m guessing it is still going on.

I have run into the we will try to resolve an issue problem in the past and it can be very frustrating.  I applaud you for keeping after it, I may have to renew my efforts on an old 5.0 and 5.1 problem.

Well...
There is an unsupported fix for the issue but it requires installing the Labview 8.2 DSC engine (along with a bunch of stuff you don't need or want).

If you want (need) this issue fixed prior to Lookout 6.1 release, contact NI Support directly and see what they can work out.  Unfortunately, the DSC engine is a separately licensed (and expensive) package that most won't want to pay for.  In my situation, I was already site licensed for use of the LabVIEW products.  It did take some time to get the combination working, but the Hypertrend issue did get fixed!

Good Luck!

erblock,

What did you exactly do to solve this issue? I am having the same problem (not seeing the traces of hypertrends throught the Internet) using Lookout 6.1.

Thank you for your help.

Hi,

Lookout has changed a lot since my last postings of that issue.  What version of Lookout are you currently running?  There are issues with all versions but there are workarounds and things to avoid to help with your issue, depending on which version.

Also, no traces is a totally different issue from partial or intermittent traces, so be clear with your issue...

I actually solved it replacing the hypertrend.cbx file. It worked. Thank you though. No traces were showing on my web client through IE.

Kind regards,

Jorge
