We have three HP computers tied to one system, each running Lookout 6.0. All computers are running the same Lookout application. The operator tries to enter a value using the remote pot, but the pot value keeps jumping back to the previous value. I have updated the lookout.ini file with the SnapDelay set to 65 on all three computers. I updated the lookout ini files on Wednesday and everything worked fine for about 1 1/2 days and then the problem started again.
All computers are connected to PLC via Ethernet. One computer is connected to a CPU, while the other two are connected to the RBCs. We are using Siemens hardware and Tiway database.
If I disconnect two of the computers, everything works fine - which is expected.
Could this be a bug in Lookout 6.0? Similar applications, using Lookout 5.1, at different locations, work fine.
