USB 6210 data to Lookout

I have reviewed several post and can't seem to get this to work.  I'm trying to add on the USB 6210 data to a current Lookout application for portable data collection on an as needed basis.   I probably need to add a switch to turn this function off if the USB device is not prevent but I need it to work first.

Here is what I have done.
-setup the analog inputs in Max and they are working fine
- used Max to create Global Virtual Channels
-Created new object in Lookout as a OPC Client with the server name National Instruments.LookoutOPCServer.  All of the settings remain as default.

When I navigate to the OPC Client through Object Explorer and expand my computer I can't get the system folder to expand.  From what I understand this is where my virtual channels should be - correct?

Do I need to assign a COM port for the USB 6210 in Lookout?  Currently COM port 1 is being used for the communication to the PLC.

Am I on the right track?  I like help would be excellent.

Also - is there a way to get the USB data to Excel real-time?  ActiveX?  OPC?  VB?

Thanks in advance.

What's your daqmx version?  Old daqmx doesn't support opc.
I don't have much experience on the connection between Daqmx and Lookout. Anyone has more comments?

Try the next...
You said thet you already create Global Virtual Channels.
Go to the Object Explorer in the Lookout. Go to the Universe, and expand Network, then your computer (its network name) and then System. There will be have to occur a DAQmx. Expand thet too, and there wiil be have to be your Global Channels. Are thay?
