Lookout 4.5 supports "properties" of ActiveX Controls, but not "methods" and "events". Therefore, if you imbed an activeX container into Lookout, you have two ways to control it. 1) Use "properties" programatically within your Lookout Process or 2) "Click" on the control and use popup windows that may (or may not) be built into the ActiveX Control.
One way to get video working is to use the "Windows Media Player" ActiveX control. Once you add the control to your process, you can "Edit Connections" and connect a TextEntry object to the ".FileName" property. Once the ".FileName" object is attached, the video should automatically run. You will also have the ability to click on the Windows Media Player control and access all built-in controls. However, remember that methods
are not yet supported in Lookout, and since "play", "pause", and "stop" are all methods for Windows Media Player, control of the ActiveX container is somewhat limited.
