I have problems connecting to the object over ethernet. I need to know what the status data member text info means.

Hi,
The
status
datamember of the Monitor object gives the state of the "connection" you're trying to monitor. For instance, when this datamember is displayed on a panel, it shows text like: "Good," "Disconnected," and so on.
