Or, just stop W32Time service. It seems useless if your computer is isolated.

So, it IS SP2 after all! That was an interesting link. Thanks Ryan!

I wondered why all the SP1 computers weren't exhibiting this flaw. (We have a boatload of them running Lookout just fine, thank you)

As far as stopping W32 Time service, you can go to the clock set control panel and uncheck the "synchronize to internet time server" option.

I need a list of all functions in SP2 that try to connect to the internet... Maybe this one and Automatic Updates are the only ones, but I would like to know. Obviously, MS isn't going to help...

I can say this though: Setting up PCs for Lookout used to be FAR, FAR easier! NI should try to make this process more intuitive for us users, since they are aware of developments in windows that users have a hard time getting info on.

Oh yeah, almost forgot.

The Lookout machine is running fine even though the registration tab says the trial version expired on May 4 2006. (It's obviously May 5 now). We have around 300 I/O running in several processes, so if it reverted back to 10 I/O, we would hve issues methinks.
