classif ads and lookout couldn´t open,why

Got a new PC equiped with Windows Vista. I tried to install my Lookout 4.01 b61 but it did not launch. I received a "Could not open Lookout Classified Ads, access denied" message. I used my Lookout in my old PC equipped with windows XP without any problem. Can anyone help me. Thanks

Only Lookout 6.1 can run on windows vista.

We frequently find NI updating the software packages (LabVIEW, Lookout, etc.) in tune with evolution of PC OSes and hardware.

I myself could not run Lookout, when I changed my PC to one with Windows7 from WinXP.

Can NI atleast help us with some means to run the Lookout in 64-bit Win7 / Win Vista? Atleast we do not have to reinvest on something that has been running for quite some time. The change in PC was necessitated by failure of Hard-drive.

What's your Lookout version?

You cannot run old Lookout version on windows 7. It's not a restriction we set for our software, but there are somethings changed in OS that our software cannot work with. What we suggest is to upgrade your lookout if you have to upgrade the OS.
