Ouch! Too many hours.
Trying to get lookout to work with Direct logic 205 ethernet. Tried the DLPlus, but have problems. Uninstall, reinstall, etc. Help.
Info:
Dedicated computer for this new lookout 6.5. New computer, but downgraded to xp pro, as I thought that Lookout originally had problems with Windows7. Very much trouble trying to connect to PLCDirects Ethernet modules. Appears to be a DSComm issue.
We just solved an issue with Hypertrend and Allen Bradley Data Points. But now have another problem with Hypertrend not displaying traces.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I called Automation Direct and they told me the DLPlus Drivers are not compatible with Windows 7 and they ARE NOT going to make them compatible with Windows 7. I am going to OPC database for DL communications.
Thanks Automation Direct.

Thanks, Jason.
But this is an XP Pro machine running Lookout 6.5.

Did you mean to say that you are going to set up an OPC for DL communications? Is this something I can do with what I have now, or will I need to wait for another driver to be programmed?
What do you mean by, " I am going to OPC database for DL communications." in your previous post?
I appreciate your help.

Sorry, I thought it was Windows 7.
For my DirectLogic PLCs that are communicating via ethernet (using DSComm), I purchased the NI OPC Server software to communicate with these PLCs.
