lookout 6.6 not loading

Whenever I click on my lookout 6.6 icon, nothing happens.  This happens in safe mode also.  I briefly get the loading icon on my cursor then it immediately stops and lookout does not open.  This is only happening on 1 computer.  Please advise.

That is quite odd.

Is the Windows 7 fully up to date prior to installing Lookout?

Does the MAX application work?

Also, try to run Lookout as an admin

Yes it was fully updated.

I'm not sure what the problem was, but I kept reinstalling it until it worked.  As of right now I do not have any problems with it.

My issue was that when trying to open it, the DefaulltLKP, in the config file, was set to a network folder.  Even though I had network connection, I still could not open lookout unless I physically opened the network folder first.

I remember a issue we had with network drives not available, (we are using win7 Lookout 6.6). I just tried to find the article, this is what I had. I hope it helps you, my problem is different.

SYMPTOMS

if you map a drive to a network share, the mapped drive may be disconnected after a regular interval of inactivity, and Windows Explorer may display a red "X" on the icon of the mapped drive. However, if you try to access or browse the mapped drive, it reconnects quickly.

This behavior occurs because the systems can drop idle connections after a specified time-out period (by default, 15 minutes) to prevent wasting server resources on unused sessions. The connection can be re-established very quickly, if required.
