I am planning to upgrade my PCs to an upgraded MS platform and will be upgrading the OS from MS 2000 to MS XP. What are the recommended procedures for reinstalling Lookout and also preserving my historical data?

I think you only need to backup your process file and database files, and then upgrade the OS. After that, install and activate Lookout.
