My question is simple but I know that there is some differents answers... (Please write down your opinion...)
Which minimum setup installation is possible for a very basic executable VI (82Mb...the run time engine? Nothing else more... light !?!)
Now, for a very simple executable VI using DAQmx, What is the minimum installation? I was creating one, when a saw a 700Mb for the setup folder!!! Really, I can not include only the dll, to make it lighter? I'm only using the create task, read/write and close VI... I'm very embarrassed to install it on the computer of my superior...With reason...no? Please can you find a more elegant way to run this executable without install a 700Mb driver...
By the way I found a DAQmx with 110Mb...Not bad...But
how can I include it in my setup file...?
I'm using Labview 8.5, 8.2, and 7.1 on XP and Vista
