process registration failed

Hi, there!

Recently we have a problem with our Lookout 6.0.2(build1), everytime we start our process file we are getting a message,
"Process Registration Failed". We donot get this problem before, nothing was change to our system. What seems to be the problem? Thanks, your help is highly appreciated.

Hi, Ryan!

We have tried downloading  Lookout 6.1 as you have suggested and installed it. We are getting an error during activation: Serial Number M62X86782 WAS NOT FOUND or DOES NOT MATCH THE PRODUCT OR VERSION YOU'RE TRYING TO ACTIVATE. PLEASE CHECK YOUR SERIAL NUMBER, PRODUCT VERSION, AND PRODUCT AND TRY AGAIN. Our purchased product from NI has the following information: Server License Unlimited:M62X86782; Client License Unlimited: J13X83223; License No. 00010007; Part No. 779043-03; Full Development System and Runtime, Lookout Version 6.0.2; Name: Victorias Milling Co., Inc.; Organization: Victorias Milling Co., Inc.

Any advice, please. Thanks.

Best regards,

Sugarman

you purchased 6.0.2, not 6.1.

I didn't suggest you to install Lookout 6.1. Lookout 6.1 is not a free upgrade.
Are you still getting the error when open a process in Lookout 6.0.2?
How about the lkads.exe? Is it running?
I'm sorry that the KB I gave you is for 5.0.  Have a look at the Windows Service, you should be able to see "National Instruments PSP Server Locator". Is it Started? If not, manually start it.
