I am new to LabVIEW and I am looking to control a stopwatch timer using two analog inputs from my USB 6008 DAQ. The first analog input starts the timer and the second input stops the timer. I have been succesfully able to control a stopwatch VI that I downloaded from a similar thread, however once I introduce the DAQ assistant into the while loop instead of a boolean switch the accuracy of the timing dramatically decreases. I would like to be able to record in ms however it only seems to loop in increments of seconds. Is there some way I can control a stopwatch using two analolog inputs without affecting the accuracy of the timing? I am using labview 8.2.
