tank cutaways

I would like to use a tank cutaway from image navigator to put on a tank and then put a bar gauge behind it, so that you get the impression of a water level inside the tank, but when I try to do that I am unable to get the cutway to mask out the edges of my bar graph since it has no way of only allowing the bar graph to show through the inner edges of the cut away.  Any suggestions as to how to properly import this graphic to do that?  Thanks

I'm not sure if I understand your question right.
You can edit your gauge's display properties, set "background style" to "Transparent".
Put the gauge over your tank, right click the gauge, select Arrange->Move to Front. Resize the gauge to match the size of the tank.
Then, you get the impression of a water level inside a tank.

You are right. If you use tank cutaway, it seems no way to allow the bar graph to show through the inner edges of the cut away. You have to adjust the size of bar to match the tank cutaway.

I have never been able to get these cutaways to display correctly either. I would like to know if there is a solution too.
