unable to communicate the lookout 6.5 with NI OPC server 2011

hi,

i have lookout 6.5 server installed on one machine and on another machine i had updated the lookout 6.6 server system. i want to use the NI OPC SERVER 2011 available with lookout 6.6 server to communicate with the third party DCS communication. I am facing the problem that lookout 6.5 server is not communicating with the NI OPC Server 2011. Please suggest the appropriate solution.

Lookout 6.5 is able to connect the NI OPC Server 2009 shipped with it, but it cannot connect the 2011.

You can use Lookout 6.6 to connect NI OPC Server 2009, but cannot use 6.5 to connect 2011.

can you please suggest which channel driver is to be selected in the OPC Server 2009 for lookout communication.

or is there any procedure available for the same.

The configuration for NI OPC Server is almost the same between 2009 and 2011. Which driver to select depends on which hardware you want to connect. Lookout just connects to the NI OPC Server, and gets data from any channel driver you configured.
