Hardcopy from plot2d graphical window?

I cannot get a correct printout/hardcopy from the Xmath GUI Tool graphical window created by the Plot2d command.
The graphical window has no pull down menus and thus no "File - Print" function, and the Hardcopy command in Xmath produces a very distorted plot that is severely compressed in the vertical direction.

Hardcopy/printout from the "normal" graphical window created by the Plot command works OK, both with "File - Print" and Hardcopy from command window.

System info:
MatrixX ver 7.11 running on NT 4.0.
Printer is Ricoh Aficio 2238C. I have tried both PCL5 and PostScript drivers (latest versions downloaded from manufacturer's web site).

I have set the XMATH_PRINT to point to the network printer:

XMATH_PRINT = D:\isi\mx_71.1\xmath\bin\xmprint \\LUNSWPRINT01\LUNP0158

(and as stated above printout works OK with normal Plot graphical window).

Any ideas?

Best regards
Anders

Look for the update 7.1.6 of MATRIXx. Most of the new features are related to the two plot-commands "plot" and "plot2d". One thing is that you now have a File->Print menu in the plot-window (called by plot2d). I believe that it should work for Win NT4. Where to find it? See ftp://ftp.ni.com/support/matrixx/current

Thanks for the tip. Is that a beta version? I haven't heard anything about 7.1.6 being released, although I know that it is in the pipeline.

It's an official release otherwise it wouldn't on NI:s ftp-site.

That's odd. We have a running SW Subscription Program for MatrixX, but I have received neither any information about this release nor any SW update. I'll have to talk to the NI Customer Support about this.

Anyway, thank's for letting me know about the new version. It looks as if it may solve my problem.

Best regards
Anders
