1422 virtual image?

Hi!
I was wondering if there is any way to get a "virtual image" from my 1422 card (i.e., not connecting a camera). I work with a BitFlow RoadRunner card too, which can generate a test image internally. This is very useful when developing apps since I don´t have to set up the camera every time I want to do a test run...

Thanks in advance for your replies

That does sound like a nice feature, but it isn't available with the NI hardware. It sounds like it would be a driver feature.

In fact, the RoadRunner virtual image is generated internally by the card; you access it via a specific configuration file like the one you use with a camera.
Thanks anyway for your answer.

The PXI/PCI-1428 does support generating a test image internally through the use of a special camera interface file. The maximum image size is 512x512 and the frame rate is fixed at approximately 110fps. The camera file attached below requires NI-IMAQ 3.0.
