About NI Vision Assistant Tutorial

In the NI Vision Assistant Tutorial       the  Figure 2-5    acquire image(USB)   is  Grey.  why?

before install    imaq_usb_installer_setup.exe     Click the acquire image(USB)       Pop-up a dialog.

after  install    imaq_usb_installer_setup.exe   The acquire image(USB) is also  Grey,and click it  no response.

      If you want perform geometric pattern match for instance, image must by grayscale. you can either capture the image in graylevel format or acquire RGB image, then perform color plane extraction or any other method to convert it to gra level. If your algorithm work on coloured image, then just capture the image in full colour and you will be able to use colour processing methods in IMAQ vision Assistant.
