Acquiring Images using the USB port

I want to acquire Images using the USB port of the PC. Is it possible to acquire images using the USB port and analyze the image using IMAQ library. If we use the USB port direct then we may not need the IMAQ vision acquisition card.

It is possible to acquire images using other sources and process them using the IMAQ Vision library. The trick is obtain LabVIEW drivers for doing the acquisition and converting the image format to the IMAQ format. For a USB camera, there are probably a couple of options available. Check recent items for discussion of the possible methods.

I thnks it is possible.

I use USB PC Camera and capture the image by 'VFW' fucntions.

you must know about what is the 'VFW'.

and the last things to do is just conversion

VFW type image buffer to NI type 'Image *' buffer.
