I'm trying to use a NI 1429 under Windows Vista Business 64-bit edition. When I load a new camera file in Measurement and Automation explorer, the parameters in the "Acquisition Parameters" window do not update (in particular the bit depth and maximium image size). On other machines I have used, the parameters always update when I load a new file. Has anyone else seen this under Vista 64? I've checked permissions on the folder containing the configuration files and it looks okay.
I need to use a 64-bit machine ; however, I suppose it would be possible to get a copy of Windows 7 if Vista Business 64-bit is horribly horribly broken.
