Auto exposure in Imagining Source Camera DMK Series

Hello,

Here, I have attached the VI in which I want to do auto exposure and set that exposure value.

Basically this is program for laser beam analysis on live image.

Basically I want to set exposure time accordingly laser beam intensity.

If anyone previously worked on it then please help me with that. I am new to image processing.

Other image I attached, that's the part I want to implement with this program.

Help me out to solve this problem.

Thanks

So what exactly are you having issues with?

Hello,

I trying to develop the some algorithm to control exposure time. In previous reply I attached one flowchart image. That's exactly I want to develop.

I need little guidance regarding IMAQ and loop that help me to develop the algorithm.

Any help would be appreciate!

Thanks

I saw the flow chart you attached as well as the VI. I see what you are currently doing and roughly what you want to do but when you are asking for help, we don't know what to help with. Do you have questions about the acquisition specifically, or setting proper camera attributes, or even the vision algorithm itself?

Hello,

My question is

1. How should I program if I want to control my exposure with Max intensity of beam profile.

2. I have a flow chart what I want to do but I don't know how can I perform this task with this program

3. If I want to read and write the attributes that thing i can do using IMAQdx, but How should I have to perform all these task for that need a guideline.

Because, previously when I program anything with camera I always used camera's driver only. This is a first time I am using Acquisition and Imaqdx for controlling exposure and all.

I am confused regarding if I want to use stack squences then when should I have to put camera attributes and intialization and all.

Thanks,
