BM500GE and NI IMAQdx

Hi,

 I bought a JAI BM-500GE and I want to use with LabViEW trough NI IMAQdx (Compliant GigEVision). I can read/write all attributes of camera but when I want to acquire images I have the following error: Don’t receive test packet.

Firewall is turned off and the camera are using NI-Imaqdx driver.

 Do you know if the camera can work with NI IMAQdx/LabVIEW. Peharps I have to update the firmware of the camera?. Thanks  Sergio

I have seen what may be a similar issue with other GigE cameras.  To resolve the issue, do the following: 1)       Launch the Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX), and open up the camera2)       Go to the “Camera Attributes” tab3)       Above the attributes, click “View Options” and select “All Attributes”4)       Scroll up in the attributes, and navigate to “Acquisition Attributes” -> “Advanced Ethernet” -> “Test Packet Parameters”5)       Uncheck “Test Packet Enabled”, and click “Save” at the top-left of MAX6)       You should now be able to use a packet size of 8000, and still acquire images
