Hi,
I am using an A600f Board Level Cameras to be used with a CVS. I have two issues:
1- Which pins on the Hirose Connector must be used for external trigger?
2- How do i connect wires to the DF20A-10DS-1C Hirose Connector? Is there a tool for that? Any simple advice?
A quick response shall be highly appreciated.
Sincerely,

Hello Faisal,
I am not personally familiar with the A600f BL camera, but I found some information from the user manual that might be helpful. Although the manual for the Board Level camera does not speficially mention triggering, the A600f manual specifies port 0 (line 2 on the BL camera) as the external trigger line. The regular camera and the BL camera are described as being the same functionally, but I highly recommend contacting Basler to verify this. Here are links to the manuals for the A600f BL and A600f cameras:

As far as connecting wires to the Hirose connector, there are probably many tools available, but I think the simplest solution would involve soldering wires to the connector. There may also be connectors you can find that already have wires in place.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for the response but if you carefully look are the DF20A-10DS-1C hirose connector, there is no place to solder. It is pure plastic. It must be clipped to the inserted wires. Very much like a LAN cable connector. Except for the fact that it is way too small. I wonder if there is a tool for doing that?

Faisal,
I don't know what type of tool should be used for this particular connector. The best information that I've found about this connector is here:
