Hello
I am looking for an appropriate USB camera to start with the vision topic.
My interest are PCBs (printed circuit boards) at the beginning so speed is not a criteria but to focus on a short distance.
The idea would be a few hundert bucks....
What could you prefer?
Thanks a lot in advance
Btw: is there any good material to read? I bought already "Practical Guide to Machine Vision Software: An Introduction with LabVIEW" from 2015

Hi,
If you would like to gain experience with software, many Genicam USB2.0 cameras that I have tried until now is working fine. If you are using a laptop, probably you will be able to use its' webcam, you can check under MAX.
If you would like to have an industrial USB3 camera, you can check here the NI supported Cameras database. The best for you will depend on your location, so you can choose the best for you.

Finally, I believe the book that you mentioned is already a good resource. But I suggest you to check NI Help documentations as they are already having most of the information that you might require. Here is an example but you will have some more which is installed in your computer with setup.
