I am using 2 camera basler acA 1440-220um for my current project. I have a problem that when the camera runs for a while, it gets streaked about 1-2 minutes as shown below, when it got striped camera 1, when it got striped camera 2, after a period of time it works normally again. This problem it occurs continuously. Is there any way to solve this problem? Thank all.

I have seen this happen when a Basler camera overheats. Do you have a lens attached that provides enough heat sink for the camera? If you have a small lens attached, you may need to add a heat sink.

I have used a lot of basler cameras but I have never encountered this case, you may say it is true because the camera is placed in a relatively closed box and it runs normally until 3pm to get a phenomenon like So. But one thing special is that it never gets 2 cameras at the same time so I'm not too sure.

Hi Vu Anh,
I have the very exact same problem with the Baseler USB3 camera (acA1440-220um). I use LV2020 with VisionAcqusion. The camera works fine with the Baseler driver and I could test with the Pylon Viewer. Then using LV (I tested with the MAX-program, but same result in LV), it switches to the IMAQdx driver and that gives me the exact image with the diagnonal stripes or some other distortion that you had. I wonder if you have been able solving the problem. Is there a way using that camera (sold by NI!) using the baseler driver instead of IMAQdx?
Any advice welcome!

Hi andreas72,
I contacted Basler support and get response as this reply as this : "problem should be that the camera temperature is too high. This image is a protective device. Please add a heat sink for your camera."
I have followed it and it is effective, may it be useful to you.
Thank

Thanks. The camera is actually warm. I will try colling the camera and see. Still, would this not only happen when using the vendor driver and a non-LabVIEW test program. I will also try switching the USB3 card. I will post if I have any results. Andreas
