I am using the IMAQ 1394 interface with a point grey dragonfly. I want to capture 16 bit monochrome images. The camera supports it, but it looks like your driver doesn't. If this is true, do you have any plans on supporting 16 bit acquisition?
All the information I can find on the DragonFly camera says that it acquires 8-bit pixels (either monochrome or Bayer encoded). It could be that we haven't used the 16-bit camera yet. Could you attach some info about it to this forum?
I've attached a screen capture from a section of the DragonFly Technical reference from their web site. It clearly states that 16 bit mono is supported. I have also used their FlyCapture program that comes with the camera and it properly displays those modes.
