I have installed ni labview and vision assistant on my vista-run laptop

Whan i am trying to create a vi from vision assistant,it shows labview and imaq are missing.

Plz try this

Its also important to know which version of Vision you have installed. For example, if you have installed LabVIEW 8.6, but Vision Development Module 7.x, then it will not work (as far as I remember). So, if you will install LabVIEW 8.6, then Vision Development Module 8.6, and then Vision Acquisition Software 8.6, then it should work.

 

Also it might not work if you will install at the first VDM, and at the second LabVIEW.

I've installed labview 8.6 first,then vision development module 8.6. Vision assistant was included in this package

I am still not clear how this is possible. Can you post a screen shot of what you get when you click create lv vi? Do you have multiple lv versions and vision tool kit for a previuos version?

I have reinstalled labview and other components. Now the problem is solved
