Color setting for sony camera XCD SX910CR

Hi all,

I have a customer that tells me is can't get MAX to grab images with "correct colors", he is using a Sony camera XCD SX910CR ; I don't have one of these at hand so I can't test but from what I know, MAX can auto-set color setting on Sony camera (for instance with "automatic white balance").

Or maybe that is not possible with that new XCD SX910CR... Has anybody ever used on of these ? If yes, was it working ok ?

Im using a XCD-SX90CR camera and have had bad color representation.

From sony support I got the suggestion to try auto white balancing. No luck.

I found my problem was that the gain and brightness where by default not zero, which gives bad image quality.

Further in my case, the camera sends the raw sensor data and does not perform YUV compression in the hardware.

Hence Bayer Color decoding must be performed by the driver. Different permutations of RGB can be chosen in MAX to correspond to the camera array.
