Do I need to purhcase extra hardware to acquire data from a light meter.
I would be using a Gigahertz optic light meter or Sencore CP5000. If anyone
has used them before please let me know.

Hi Yesh,
Do you know what the interface to the PC is? If it's USB or Serial, then probably not. If it's a voltage level then you'll need some sort of DAQ device.
