Difference between CIELAB values in Labview and Photoshop

I tried using the RGB to Color 2 vi to convert RGB to CIELAB form but the values it gives for L* A8 and b* do not correspond to that from photoshop.

Can anyone help me with what I need to do to correc t this,

dividing by 255 and multiplying with 100 to change the scale didnt help either

Hi,

maybe a look at the image types helps you:

I have no idea what formulae Photoshop uses, but it's likely to include a non-linear Gamma correction as part of the RGB->Lab conversion, whereas LabVIEW specifically doesn't do that.

Spoiler
I've just answered a very similar question on the LAVA forums. Is this part of a class assignment or something?
