Do Ineed IMAQ Vision Builder 6.0 a long with IMAQ 2.5 and IMAQ vision 6.0

We are using LabView 6.1, and IMAQ 2.5. I am working on a system that is used for data and image acquisition, in which we use a National Instrument (NI) PCI 1409, which is an analog frame grabber. The computer that I had in the University had LabView 6.1 and NI IMAQ Vision BUilder 6.0 and NI IMAQ Vision 6.0 for LabView, aslo it has NI IMAQ 2.5, and NI IDAQ 6.9.2. I am planning to install these softwares again on a nother machine. Do I need all of them to run my program or system? The new machine runs with OS windows XP, are these softwares are compatable with XP?

You do not need Vision Builder to run software developed in LabVIEW. It is a great tool for testing algorithms and various image processing, but it is not necessary for programming applications. However, if you are using any Vision Builder scripts, you will need it to run them. You may need it if you created any LabVIEW code from Vision Builder. In this case, you could also replace the routines with equivalent routines from the Vision toolkit.

All of this software will run on XP.

Make sure you have the proper licenses for all your software. Unless you have a site license of some sort, you will need to purchase new copies of everything (except for the drivers) to be able to install it on a second computer.
