Edge detector information (vision)

Hello,

I’m using vision to detect disturbance in a pattern. But there are 2 different kinds of disturbances. The different between them is at one disturbance all of the colors (green red and blue) decrease in intensity and by the other one just 2 colors decrease in intensity and one increase in intensity. The program I’ve to make, has to see the difference between the 2 kinds of disturbance and have to gif the coordinates of were the disturbance is.

Can anyone tell me if this is possible? Can I get these values out of the edge detector?

Hello,

Here is a VI that shows how to separate the 3 color planes and turn them into grayscale image, you can then use the IMAQ find edge VI on each plane separately.
