Error -2146828259 you called setFlipH and VideoCaptureDevice does not support flipping, Using ic caputre functions in LabView, trying to grab images.

I'm using an imagingsouce firewire camera (DFK 31BF03) to acquire a live feed through LabView. I downloaded the Labview compatible ic capture functions library, and worked through the "gettingstarted" example in the IC LabView Extension section. I have to like picture, however, when i press the grab button i receive an error message.

Error -2146828259 occurred at Exception occured in IC.ICImagingControl3.1: An option is not available, e.g. you called setFlipH and the VideoCaptureDevice does not support flipping in IC_Grab_IMAQ.vi->BarcodeRead1.1.vi
This error code is undefined. No one has provided a description for this code, or you might have wired a number that is not an error code to the error code input.

What should I do to reconcile this error and properly grab and display images?

Thank you

Hi omar77878,

What exactly did you download and install.  The driver that LabVIEW use with firewire cameras is called IMAQdx or IMAQ for 1394 if you are using the legacy driver.  If this is the driver you have what version of it did you download?   Have you tried one of the examples?  I would suggest trying the Grab.vi example.  This can be found by going to Help>Find Examples then searching for IMAQdx Grab.  Let me know if this causes an error as well.
