Error When Writing File as TIFF using Write File 2.vi

All,

Using LabView 2009 when snapping an image and trying to write it to a folder location using IMAQWrite File 2.vi into a folder in a USB thumb drive I am getting an error that says:

Error -1074395992 occurred at IMAQ WriteTIFFFile
  File access denied.
 

I definitely have administrator access to this folder and have tried de-selecting read only under the properties menu. This immediately goes back to being highlighted to have read-only properties. I have also tried changing this in command prompt in Windows XP, as it still remains highlighted as read-only.

I have also confirmed that I have read/write abilites in NIVision.dll.

I am somewhat new to LabView, so open for any help. Thanks!

Hello Andrew,

First thing that I would suggest you to try is to save the file onto your desktop. Then I would just write the file to the root directory of the USB drive to see if the image can be saved.
