Error initializing IMAQ

Hi All,

I was wondering if someone has had and issue like mine before and know a better way to solve it.

I am using an USB Dinolite Camera, the first time I try to open it with the IMAQ library after booting up the PXI Controller I get an error that the resource is not present. But every subsequent times I run the same VI it works perfectly, it just happens the very first time. Right now I have gotten around the issue by using a case in which if there is an error in the initialization it clears it and tries to initialize again, but it is kind of messy to do it this way.

The error occurs in the open block of the IMAQ, and I have tested it with a different camera and it just seems to happen with the Dinolite, so I am not sure if it can be some configuration in MAX or something like that.

Hello Carlos,

I have faced similar issues with Intel Camera. Are you seeing the same problem when capturing using Dino-lite Capture as well ? 

For me the fix was updating the firmware and driver. Make sure that you are using the latest Driver, SDK and Dino-lite Capture.
