Hello,
I have a project that was build with LabView, Vision Acquisition Software and Vision Development Module, all of them 64bits versions.
Now, I have installed all the software in a notebook and when I want to open a VI that use Imaq.dll, the Operating System shows the error:
Error loading "imaq.dll"
Error in initialization routine dynamic link library.
I have searched for these dll in all of the disc and fount that there are two files imaq.dll. One of them is in Windows\SysWOW64 and his size is 1,681KB; the other is in System32 and his size is 2,537KB.
When I installed the Imaq driver, I have the caution to only include support for 64bits.
When uninstall all of the NI Software, both of the imaq.dll files are deleted.
The notebook have:
Intel core I3
Windows 7 Home Basic 64bits
RAM 2GB
Software NI:
Vision Acquisition Software, August 2010, 64bits.
Vision Development Module, 2010 SP1, 64bits.
LabView, 2010 SP1, Ver 10.0.1 (64bits).
Thanks.

Good Morning,
I need to get some information to get into this issue. How did you get the software you're installing on your PC? It was a DVD or downloaded from web?
I believe something happened during the install and corrupt some files.
My suggestion is to try to install the newer Vision drivers. You can find a link to them here.
Give it a try and let me know wheter it works or not.
Best regards!

Hello Felipe,
Thank for answer.
I have downloaded all the software, I didn't try to download again, it could be something to try.
Also I have asked to NI Support and they have answered. They recommended install the latest versions of Imaq drivers and Vision Modules, too. I did that and all worked fine.
But, the problem is, that I want to make executables with some modifications and send them to our client. So, I guess that with the latest versions I will have some problem sending only the executable.
I want to avoid uninstall the application and send a new installer because the risk is higher.
Because all of the above, I will try to download the Vision Acquisition Ago-2010 and post the results.
PD: I don´t know why my name appeared as ldfjdlkj, when I´m Juanjo339.
Thanks and kind regards.

OK Juan, I will wait for your answer!!
About your name, I really don't know what happened. It's probably a bug of the forum, but now I can see your name "Juanjo339" on your last post here!!

Hello Felipe,
Sorry for the delay in answer. I can solve the problem.
After installing the latest version of the drivers, I uninstall them, but this time I didn't uninstall MAX.
After that, I installed the old drivers (Vision Acquisition Software, August 2010, 64bits) and for my surprise it worked !!!!.
I was using MAX 4.7.7f0
Now using MAX 5.0.0f1
Tanks and regards.
