FINDING OUT THE DIMENSIONS OF THE OBJECT USING WEBCAM

Friends,
I want to find of the dimensions of a geometrical (symmetric) object using a webcam. The object is a colored square. I would like to know from you people the way in which we can do it by using IMAQ library. I have VI's which are used for edge detection. The web camera is mounted on top of the workspace which has a colored square kept on it.I would like to know the way in which this can be done. I have already started acquiring images using a webcam. It would be nice if some of you could send some example VI for support.

Have a look in the LabVIEW Vision Help uder "Calibration" - if you can calibrate your image with a calibration template, then it doesn't really matter what type of camera you use (as long as its resolution is high enough...)

Dear Crelf,
I could locate the calibration VI in the IMAQ library, further I would like to know from you how exactly it will be used for finding the dimensions of the object using a webcam.
