Frame Timeout

I have the following setup: Kappa HiRes XR2 cameralink camera connected to Vivid Engineering Repeater connected to computer with NI-1427frame grabber.

This setup has been running perfectly for about 18 months and suddenly it is generating frame timeout error after running for a few seconds. In my software (developed in VB.NET with NI VDM) OR in MAX - Begin grabbing and after a random amout of seconds I get a timeout error.

I have reinstalled all the NI drivers and software but it still happens! - even in MAX.

Any ideas??

Problem fixed! It was a neon lamp that was faulty and the cables were installed next to my cameralink cable. The lamp was trying to start all the time everytime it tries it causes noise that causes the timeouts. Swith lights off - no problems, replace faulty lamp - no problems.
