GigE camera initializes very slowly in VBAI 2009 SP1

My inspections take literally about 5 minutes to load while it's "initializing" the cameras.  Very hard to get anything done when it does this every time I switch from Configure to Inspect...  It also does this if I change anything on the front tab of an "Acquire" step. 

Is there any way to speed this up?

VBAI 2009 SP1

2 GigE cameras:  Basler aca2500-14gm

I am using the same camera and it took take 30s for each camera to initialize under MAX with Vision Acquisition 2009. I upgraded to latest 2011 and it is now opening in a couple of seconds.
