GuppyPro video acquisition at set frame rate

I am trying to acquire video at a set frame rate. I am very beginner user of
LabView. I have been able to get some video, but not at a specified frame rate. I have contacted Allied Vision
Technologies (camera manufacturer) who has informed me that I will likely need
to externally trigger the camera to get a specific frame rate. I seem to always
get a default around 25 fps.

Do you have any programs (*.vi) that would allow me to acquire video using an external trigger via my DAQ so as to set a specific frame rate? I also have a DAQ from NI. I
downloaded the IMAQdx supporting programs/software (excuse my terminology - my
expertise in this all is lacking). Any advice, direction, explanations would be
incredibly helpful.

Thank you for your help.

I do not have a VI that you could use as a starter.  Have you seen the "Triggered Grab.VI" in the Example Finder?  IMAQdx should have installed it to your PC.

If you add the appropriate wiring from your DAQ card to the Guppy Pro you could run VI that produces a period trigger via DAQmx and the "Triggered Grab.VI" side by side - and the Guppy should output triggered acquisitions.
