Hi all!
I am a student using evaluation version of NI Vision assistant 8.6. I have a script file that i want to convert to VI. As you know we cannot do it on a evaluation version. I neither can afford the package right now. Please help me convert the file to VI and C code.
Please mail me on snapy050@gmail.com
Will be very thankful if some one generously helps.

Hi,
You can use the Express VI instead (palette Vision and Motion>>Vision Express once you install the Vision Development Module). The Express VI will launch Vision Assistant in a Wizard mode. This still allows you to use Vision Assistant to create your Vision algorithm, and it will generate the LabVIEW code when you return to LabVIEW. You can view the code generated by right-clicking on the Express VI and select Open Front Panel.
Note that the code generated is also licensed and that it will work for 30 days from the day you install the Vision Development module.
If you want to keep using the Vision VIs after that, you'll need to purchase a license and activate the software. Which university do you work with? Ask around, I am sure you can probably find a professor who has a license for it.
Hope this helps,
-Christophe
