Hi David,
There are several options for synchronizing your camera with an external trigger. You can configure the PXI-1422 to trigger in several different ways. You can trigger the start of the acquisition, trigger each buffer in an acquisition, etc. There are several examples in LabVIEW or LabWindows/CVI that demonstrate how to perform this triggering.
