How can I compress pictures on a RT target?

Hi,

I have some troubles with viewing the pictures I grabe with the cameras connected with the RT target. Íf the data rate is above 2 MBytes per sec the target crushes. That's why I want to compress the pictures I send via ethernet to the host computer. All picture manipulation vi's don't work on real time system. Does anybody have a idea ow to compress the pictures anyway?

You should be able to use the IMAQ Remote Compression VI (located in the IMAQ RT palette) to specify what kind of compression to use (and what quality) when transferring images from the RT target to the host.
