How can I use Euresys PICOLO to get image from analog camera (Samsung SDC-415)

We have Euresys PICOLO frame grabbber (V16 H.264) and Samsung SDC-415 Analog cameras. We tested the cameras with graph edit (Windows SDK) and make sure that the cameras are working properly. But we can not get images via using Vision assistant although we see the device in acquire images tab as seen in the attached image. Could you please help us with this issue ?

As you can see in the error message, this error is undefined. It could be caused by the camera or framegrabber you are using and not be recognized by LabVIEW. Have you tried testing the camera in Measurement & Automation Explorer (NI MAX)? It would be interesting to see if the same error is thrown. If it works in NI MAX I suggest using an example (Help >> Find Examples) in LabVIEW to see if this is related to the VIsion Assistant or LabVIEW in general.

I tried in NI-MAX and also in Vision Assistant, but it gives the errors as attached in the photos.

We get the error as in the attached photo (grab error.jpg)when we try to grab images in NI-MAX.
We get the error as in the attached photo (save image error.jpg)when we try to save images in NI-MAX.
We get the error as in the attached photo (vision asistant error.jpg)when we try to acquire images in Vision Assistant.

Hi,

Sorry for overlooking this in my last post. With Vision Acquisition Software, the NI Analog framegrabbers will work, but 3rd party framegrabbers are not supported. You would need to use the PICOLO API to access the camera in LabVIEW. I hope this helps. For more information you can take a look the Software Report section of this article.
