How can frames received by my NI-IMAQ PCI-1424 board be used by/made visible to VisSDK or DirectX?

I would like to see (grab) the same view as the NI-IMAQ software does by using VisSDK or DirectX. The NI-IMAQ board together with the Measurement & Automation Explorer for IMAQ works fine.

I have a Matrox board which automatically shows up in both VisSDK and DirectX, but the NI-IMAQ board does not. The board was detected by Windows2000 as normal.

So how can I make the NI-IMAQ board visible to VisSDK/DirectX in the same way as my Matrox board?

Tino,

Unfortunately we don't have specific drivers or code to accomplish this, you may need to search for other options that will allow you to export a 2D array of data after you get the IMAQ image in your code.

Maybe someone in this discussion forum has already worked on something similar and may be able to help you out.

Good luck!

Hi,

I am trying to interface a camera having LVDS output with PCI1424 frame grabber. I am trying it for long time but unable to see any image. Can any one suggest me how can I do so. I am trying it for long time. I tried to generate .icd file also. But nothing seems to be working. any help in this is appriciated. I have attached some of the snapshots of the image pattern I received.
