How do I access imaqdx's Bayer Filter algorithm?

Thank you. My only other issue is that IMAQdx Get Image Data is producing 8 bit data, not 16 bit data.  Did you experience this at all?

Sorry, I didn't realize another student was logged in when I posted that. But it was actually from me.

Yes, actually, the data is 8-bit that I receive, hence the steps I took. My reference to 16-bit is that I understand that is what is actually being sent from the camera. I believe this has something to do with how Labview VIs must work, however (very C-ish in terms of data type handling).

I am using LV 2009 & NI-IMAQ 4.3.1.  Is that too early to contain IMAQarrayToImage.vi?

If so, is there an alternative?

Did "IMAQdx Get Image Data VI" really capture raw Bayer data?

I am having a tough time using it to capture raw Bayer output from a Point Grey Chameleon.

For some reason it always grabs 4 times the amount of data.  I think it is really grabbing RGBA data.

But Point Grey assures me that the their camera doesn't have any color processing ability and

outputs in raw.

ANy idea?
