How many GigE Cameras can Be Connected to the EVS System

How many Cameras Can Be Connected To the EVS System, as I only see that you can Connect one swith (8 ports) Which can Serve 8 Cameras.

Hi,

It depends on the througput you need on each camera. If you connect 8 camera to a switch then your switch to one ethernet port of your EVS, the cameras will have to share the bandwith. You can downgrade each camera FPS in order to make them work this way.

Will you use the EVS with VBAI? If so, you can manage to trigger each camera at a time in order to get full bandwith for the camera suppose to return an image.

I've already done an application with 3 cameras on an EVS.
